Firm Overview

I am Steve Apolinsky of Apolinsky and Associates, LLC and I am the founder of the firm. Over the past couple of years we have become more selective in the type of cases we accept and handle. They fit under the broad umbrella of civil litigation, but they are predominately auto accidents, trucking accidents, dog bite cases, and nursing home. We occasionally get called in commercial matters but the bread and butter; the main focus are injury claims. And generally serious injuries, either somebody has passed away or somebody has suffered some sort of catastrophic injury that they have a permanent injury that they may never recover from. To a certain extent, we, I and my firm, reflect a passive aggressive type of behavior in that we are very caring with our clients, but we educate them and we explain to them the process, and the pros and cons of settling versus going into the court room, rejecting an offer, or accepting an offer. But when we are outside the four corners of the room that we’re with our clients and we are dealing with the lawyers and the judges and the insurance companies the clients see that we zealously represent their interests. Over time I have tried over 70 cases to verdict meaning I’ve been in front of judges, I’ve been in front of juries, I’m pleased to say that I’ve settled many cases without going to court and a lot of times it comes down to money. It comes down to what’s being offered and what do people feel is fair compensation and it is their case and it is their choice and we do what we can to exceed their expectations but at the end of the day we listen to the client and do what we can for the client.
